Creek Kits: Bilingual Activity Books

Overview.
TTF Watershed is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting clean water and healthy communities throughout the Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed. Their Creek Kits are interactive, bilingual activity books designed to help young children explore nature, stay active, and have fun learning about the environment.

Project.
I designed a series of four bilingual activity books that explored different ways of experiencing nature: seeing close, seeing far, hearing sounds, and looking through water. The challenge was to make activities easy to navigate in both English and Spanish while keeping them engaging for young children and their families. Each book combines colorful charts, fun facts, drawing activities, conversation prompts, and physical challenges to encourage curiosity, movement, and hands-on learning.

Logo.
I created the Creek Kits logo to complement TTF Watershed’s existing brand and highlight their local wildlife and diversity, while also giving the program its own identity. The design combines local wildlife with a human element, reflecting the connection between families and the nature around them.
